BIO

Nanette Yannuzzi was born in El Paso, Texas. She is a visual artist and writer whose creative work draws its inspiration from the social, personal, and political machinations of the everyday. Yannuzzi has collaborated with many artists and writers who share similar concerns and interests in art, the environment, writing and performance.

She received her MFA from The University of California, San Diego, during which time she was also a fellow at the Whitney Museum ISP. She received her BFA in Painting from The Cooper Union School of Art. She has exhibited nationally and internationally and is based in Oberlin, Ohio where teaches the practice of Art at Oberlin College & Conservatory.
